We are experts in custom access control solutions. With over 30 years experience in designing control and logic solutions for the access control industry, our systems are unparralled for performance and price. |
In 1981, we began to design and supply custom circuit and logic solutions for the access control industry. A majority of our products were designed and produced for system integrators and the OEM trade. Under the name Hard Logic, we were also the force behind the electronics & logic controls integrated into the turnstiles produced by Tomsed Corporation. Tomsed had also acquired several other companies and their product lines. Support for those legacy products, is now also available to you through XIS Controls. No one knows more about these products than we do. With over 30 years experience, we are best able to assist you where knowledgeable support is needed. We are experts in custom access control solutions. |
Dear XIS Controls Customer,
During my 20 plus year tenure at TOMSED, we always stressed the manufacture of excellent turnstiles at competitive prices with timely delivery and superior customer service. When we acquired the Philips turnstile business in 2001, we extended this philosophy to their product line and sought to fully support their existing customer base. To my chagrin, this same commitment has not been extended during the course of the past several years, at least until now. I have known Al Gershman and his prior company, Hard Logic, since my first days at TOMSED. He designed many of our control circuits and was always available for special projects and help with any customer's unique needs. To see now that Al has established XIS Controls with the specific goal of supporting the entire range of TOMSED and Philips products gives me great comfort knowing that our loyal customers will once again receive the service they deserve. I am confident that XIS Controls will be a reliable vendor for many years to come. Rest assured that your electronic needs are in good hands with Al and the rest of the XIS staff. Sincerely, |
In 1977, while working for a major security integrator in New York City, I met Thomas Sedivy, Rob Sedivy's dad. Tom was working for Perey in those days and his feeling was that he could do the turnstile product in a much more reliable, secure, aesthetic and cost effective way. Tom and I would cross paths many times and we became friends. In 1981 Tomsed (yes, a concatination of his name) opened its doors and he asked me to be his electrical designer. Tomsed established themselves as the number one in the turnstile business in the USA in a short period of time. The Sedivy's and I live in the same town in NC and I see the from time to time. They are doing well. - Al Gershman |
